Infrared thermometers can be easily affected by the environment and some factors that affect measurement stability. Additionally, different models of infrared thermometers have different temperature measurement components. For correct measurement methods and distances, please refer to the user manual for each model. When abnormal measurement results occur, it is recommended to measure again using a mercury thermometer or electronic mercury thermometer. Medisana infrared thermometers have been rigorously tested for accuracy to meet international standards, with an error generally not exceeding ±0.2°C – 0.4°C (depending on the mode).
